Malaysia is an island nation in the South China Sea, inhabited by representatives of various religions and nationalities. Approximately 60% of the population are Malays (native Malaysians). These people enjoy a lot of privileges on the territory of their country. The second largest group is made up of the Chinese, the third is the Tamil Indians.

Malaysian names are a mixture of their Islamic, Chinese and Tamil names. Islamic names are the most common. According to the country's constitution, all Malays are Muslims.
