The Tuareg are a small nomadic people, predominantly living in the Sahara, on the border of Algeria, Mali and Niger. Belongs to the Berber ethnic group, are Muslims and are very religious.

Tuareg names are traditional Islamic names. Mostly of Arabic or Persian origin. The original names of the Berbers refer to natural phenomena or the names of animals. Representatives of this people do not have surnames, only personal names and patronymics. For men, the ending “ag” (son) is added to the name of the father in the patronymic, for women - “wit” (daughter).
